Muntagnard stands for a quiet form of comfort: understated design, carefully selected materials, and clothing that will accompany you for years to come. Developed in Switzerland, manufactured exclusively in Europe.
Design with logic
For us, good design is an exercise in omission. Form, material, and construction must form a single unit. What works remains. What can be refined, we continue to develop.
It all begins with the fiber
Before we design a piece, we choose the material. We test fibers, yarns, and fabrics until the hand, drape, and durability are just right. We develop many of our fabrics in-house together with our partners. The deciding factor is how a piece feels on the skin, how it develops, and what it becomes after years of wear.
Craftsmanship and Proximity
Every material demands its own level of craftsmanship. Our coats and jackets are produced in small batches in a workshop in the Canton of Schwyz. They are among the last to be manufactured in Switzerland.
For knitwear, jersey, and cashmere, we work with specialists across Europe: family-run businesses and workshops that truly live their craft. We know all of our partners personally, right down to the individual fiber.
Made to stay
A piece should accompany you for a long time. That is why we offer a comprehensive repair service and will refresh your item for you. At the end of its life, we take back all our products, thereby closing the loop.
