The fabric comes from Manteco, a family business that has been reclaiming and re-weaving wool in the region north of Florence since 1943. Wool has been recycled in this textile district since the 1850s. The merino wool gives the fabric warmth and a soft feel, while the polyamide content provides the durability needed for a lightweight garment in daily wear. The overshirt is produced in small batches in a workshop in Rothenthurm, Canton of Schwyz.
