The fabric comes from Manteco, a family business that has been reclaiming and reweaving wool in the region north of Florence since 1943. Wool has been recycled in this textile district since the 1850s. The merino wool gives the fabric warmth and a soft hand, while the polyamide content provides the durability required for a lightweight fabric in daily wear. The jacket is produced in small batches in a workshop in Rothenthurm, Canton of Schwyz.
