Sustainability at Muntagnard

At Muntagnard, sustainability is at the heart of our philosophy. We are committed to bringing sustainable innovations to the fashion industry while meeting the highest quality standards. Our sustainability approach is based on four core elements: reducing impact, extending lifespan, closing the loop and not hiding anything. Here we give you an insight into our principles and practices.

Reduce impact

Our goal is to reduce the environmental impact of our products to a minimum. In all our developments, we rely on renewable, recycled and/or biodegradable raw materials. One example of this is our development of our own fabrics made from Swiss wool. We also work with recycled animal and plant materials and set new standards with fibers from regenerative agriculture. If natural-based materials are not yet available for certain purposes, we use improved biodegradable and new functional fibers. This ensures that our products are not only environmentally friendly, but also meet the highest quality standards.

Extend lifespan

Another key aspect of our sustainability strategy is extending the lifespan of our products. Our clothing is characterized by timeless designs and the highest quality workmanship. We only use the best and most comfortable materials to ensure that our clothing meets the highest quality standards. We work with the best and most innovative partners to develop sustainable and groundbreaking solutions. In addition, we offer an exclusive repair service that further extends the lifespan of our products and thus conserves resources.

Closing the circle

Each of our garments is designed and developed according to the strictest circular economy criteria. We only use circular materials that are either biodegradable or recyclable to ensure that our products can be recycled in an environmentally friendly way at the end of their life cycle. In addition, we offer a take-back program for used products and work intensively on scalable recycling solutions. Our goal is to make the entire life cycle of our clothing as sustainable as possible and to minimize the environmental impact.

Don't hide anything

Transparency is an essential part of our sustainability strategy. Together with our production partners, we operate a comprehensive traceability system that always provides the most up-to-date data on our products. We work exclusively in Europe and offer detailed product passports for each product in order to be able to transparently trace every step of the supply chain. Our customers receive all the necessary information about a product, the materials used and the people who were involved in its production. This way, you can be sure that you are not only wearing a high-quality and comfortable garment, but you can also precisely trace the origin and sustainability of each individual item.

At Muntagnard, we are committed to making fashion more sustainable. Our comprehensive approaches to reducing impact, extending lifespan, closing the loop and full transparency ensure that our products not only look good, but are also good for the environment. Together, we can create a better and more sustainable future.
