Materials with high standards

We believe that only those who understand how a fabric is created and what lies within each fiber can develop truly sustainable products. That's why we don't simply select materials—we develop, test, and optimize them together with leading partners. For the best wearing comfort, outstanding durability, and uncompromising sustainability.

Material expertise out of conviction

We're material nerds. And we mean that in the best sense: Every yarn, every fabric, and every blend is selected and developed with the utmost care. We analyze the entire impact of a product—from fiber origin to processing and use, as well as care, repairability, and recyclability. This results in clothing that is functionally compelling and ecologically relevant.

Sustainability begins with the fiber

Our materials come exclusively from renewable, recycled, or biodegradable sources. We rely on short transport routes, transparent supply chains, and strictly tested standards. Whether Swiss wool, European organic cotton, or wood-based fibers – every material meets the highest standards of environmental compatibility and social responsibility.

Quality you can feel

A garment is only as good as its material. That's why we only work with fabrics and yarns that are soft against the skin, yet durable and easy to care for. Our fibers are functional, breathable, and durable, making no compromises between comfort and responsibility.

Innovation instead of compromise

Together with specialized partners from across Europe, we are constantly working on new solutions: machine-washable wool, stretchy natural fibers, non-iron cotton fabrics, and recyclable functional fabrics. Our development goes beyond the familiar – because we are convinced that the future of fashion begins with materials.

We have become real material nerds. The search for new raw materials, the development of exciting material combinations and the testing of new concepts form our central drive.

Material highlights

Dive into our material development highlights. Almost every one of our fabrics is an exclusive development with and for us, and the following examples give you an insight into the ambition and attention to detail that goes into every single product.

Wool

Wool is one of the highest-quality and most functional natural fibers available. Naturally breathable, temperature-regulating, and insulating, it's a natural choice. We work with carefully selected wools to combine the highest quality with innovative sustainability: Swiss wool, recycled merino wool, and extra-fine merino wool from regenerative agriculture.

wood fibers

Obtained from sustainably managed forests, wood-based fibers impress with their softness, breathability, and odor-inhibiting properties. They are an innovative alternative to conventional textile fibers and offer unmatched comfort. The ideal fiber for sustainable luxury and understated elegance.

Cotton

It has rightfully become the most widely used natural fiber for clothing, but is often discredited due to its immense resource consumption. We therefore rely exclusively on durable long-staple fibers from organic and regenerative agriculture and work with recycled fibers whenever possible.

functional fibers

Conventional synthetic fibers are virtually impossible to recycle and are not biodegradable. Our innovative polyamide, however, is recyclable and can decompose under natural conditions within a few years. Even the zippers, labels, and sewing thread of our functional clothing are made of the same material. Elastane, which is also biodegradable without harmful substances, provides extra comfort.
