Swiss Made is back - Swiss craftsmanship in fashion

"Swiss Made" stands for precision, quality, and trust. In fashion, this seal of quality had almost disappeared. We are bringing it back with coats designed and manufactured in Switzerland.

Back to Swiss Made

When the pandemic paralyzed Europe in 2020, we at Muntagnard faced a challenge: We had just developed a fabric made from Swiss wool for the first time in decades, but our European production partners had to close.
We found the solution where we least expected it: in Switzerland. In Rothenthurm, we discovered Schuler Manufaktur - a tailoring workshop that preserves and embodies Swiss craftsmanship.

What began as an emergency solution became the birth of a unique partnership.

The Swiss Partnership – a Stroke of Luck

Here, in hundreds of meticulous steps, coats and jackets are created with a great promise: Swissness, tangible in the careful selection of materials, visible in every detail. Only about 150 pieces across various models are produced each year. Each one is an expression of genuine Swiss tailoring and practically a unique item.

“For us, Swiss Made means a real promise,” says co-founder Dario Pirovino. “Short distances allow for development down to the smallest detail. Close collaboration with the experts at Schuler Manufaktur guarantees a level of craftsmanship that is internationally top-tier, reminiscent of Swiss watches. This makes our coats unique.”

The Latest Collection

Since October 2025, modern relaxed-fit models made from regenerated, extra-fine merino wool have supplemented the range – including the Raglan Coat, the ReWollution Coat, and the Shacket. While the selection used to be limited, today you are spoiled for choice between classic and modern.

Sustainable Elegance: Natural Materials with a History

The outer fabric is made from extra-fine merino wool, regenerated from old textiles. Collected, sorted, and re-spun in Northern Italy, it creates fabrics of first-class quality.
The lining is woven from wood fibers of European beech trees into a fine satin fabric that feels pleasantly soft against the skin. Vegetable-tanned Swiss deer leather from the Bernese Oberland adds additional character, and even the hardened nut buttons speak of naturalness and care.

The result: luxurious materials that are authentic, durable, and unique.
